Welcome to the privacy policy for Quizickle. This policy describes how we collect, use, process, and disclose your information, including personal information, in conjunction with your access to and use of our App and our website https://quizickle.app.

Please read this privacy policy carefully. By using our App or visiting our website, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

We may collect different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our App and services to you.

• Account Information: When you create an account for Quizickle (if applicable), we may collect information such as your name, email address, username, password, and player name.
   
• User Content: Information you create or provide through the App, such as quiz categories you enter, scores, game progress, and any question lists you generate.
   
• Communications: If you contact us directly (e.g., for customer support), we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you send us, and any other information you choose to provide.
   
• In-app purchase data: If you make purchases directly through Quizickle (e.g., credits), your purchase information may be relayed by Google Play (see below).
   

• Usage Data: We may collect information about how the App is accessed and used. This may include your device's IP address (anonymized or generalized), unique device identifiers, device type, OS version, actions within the App, timestamps, session length, and diagnostic data.
   
• Device Information: Including hardware model, OS and version, network information, and unique device IDs.
   
• AI Generation: When you request AI-generated content (like trivia questions or poems), we send non-personally identifiable inputs such as the chosen category, difficulty, language preference, and count to our AI service provider (OpenAI). We do not send your personal account information to the AI service unless you explicitly include it in your prompt.
   
• Code Validation: If you use a feature to validate a code, the entered code is sent to our backend server for validation purposes. No other identifying information is transmitted with it unless explicitly required.
   

• Google Play Billing: In-app purchases (like credits) are processed by Google Play. We do not store your full payment details. We receive transaction confirmations which may include transaction IDs and item details. For more, see Google's Privacy Policy.
   
• Analytics Services: If used, services like Google Analytics for Firebase may collect anonymized usage data.
   
• Advertising (Not currently used): If implemented in future, we may use services like AdMob.
   
• Cloud Function Providers: Our backend services (like code validation) may be hosted on Google Cloud. These platforms process only the data needed to fulfill the specific request.
   

• Log Data: When you visit https://quizickle.app, our servers may log IP address, browser type/version, pages visited, timestamps, and other diagnostic info.
   
• Cookies: We may use cookies for analytics or session tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser, but this may affect your website experience.

• AI-generated content signatures may be cached but are purged regularly for performance.
